The idea was formed on March 2013 and the teaching was started on November 2013 and because of helping to other people, wanting all Filipinos not to be illiterate especially when talking about education.
NCIP EAP Grantees Region XI, a social network group in facebook, a group for Indigenous People scholar in which Mr. Dalagma posted his concern about the donation and willingness to teach his students and Mr. Kharyll Clark Basa-Permangil found it. And because of that, the Katutubong Lumadnon(KLumad) decided to be part of his mission and to become partners in helping supplying all the things needed.
Status:
Currenty it reaches already 60 students listed teached by Julieto B. Dalagma. a minimum of 20 students per Saturday for a whole day session and until now, teaching materials such as pencils, crayons, books, erasers and papers are highly crucial due to insufficient supply of materials and despite of the small area, He has the passion and desire to teach these people.
And by the testimony of Matigsalug student of dreaming and wanting to learn, He is very grateful and happy to serve them without any exchange.
Places
Relocation of the teaching place is at Sitio Nangalig, Brgy. Datu Salumay, Marilog District, 8000 Davao City, Philippines. Starting from Davao City proper to Sitio Nangalig will take atleast 3 hours of traveling using bus before you will enter the boundary of Marilog District.
The teaching area was owned by his neighbor and it was fully accepted as a place where learning is necessity.
